The 14th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE 2026) was held at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center, Beijing, from March 31 to April 3, 2026, where CRRC showcased a range of products, including its next-generation 6.9MWh liquid-cooled battery energy storage container, MW-class standalone flywheel energy storage system, and cabinet-style standalone flywheel system.

On the first day of the event, CRRC announced its latest Large-scale Fire Test Report. Witnessed by the third-party certification body SGS and conducted in accordance with the latest international standards, the test examined six levels of safety protection: cell-level early warning, pack-level fire suppression, container-level venting, active fire extinguishing, directional pressure relief, and container-level fire resistance and thermal insulation. Under extreme conditions, including a temperature of 1,443, 19 hours of continuous burning, and a spacing of 15cm between containers, the fire was successfully controlled within a single container. The temperature rise of cells in adjacent containers did not exceed 25, and the container structure remained intact without reignition or fire spread, demonstrating excellent safety performance.

At the event, CRRC also introduced a diversified portfolio of solutions, including high-voltage cascaded systems, DC-coupled systems, string-type solutions, long-duration energy storage, and integrated coordinated control solutions. In addition, tailored to diversified application scenarios, CRRC released customized Energy Storage + Scenario” industry matrix solutions, injecting new momentum into the low-carbon development of the industry.
