On March 25-27, the China International Hydrogen Congress & Expo 2026 (CIHC 2026) was held at the China National Convention Center, Beijing, where CRRC showcased a range of achievements, such as core components, full value-chain innovations, and system solutions, demonstrating its safer and more cost-effective green hydrogen production technologies.
CRRC has developed capabilities in flexible hydrogen production, multi-level safety protection, and full-chain innovation covering materials, components, equipment, and systems. Based on its five core equipment platforms and three system-level service offerings, the company has built a flexible green electricity-to-hydrogen production system. Designed for various hydrogen production scenarios with renewable energy, the system delivers system-level solutions with optimized overall performance and cost efficiency, and has been successfully deployed in multiple large-scale green hydrogen projects.
At the event, CRRC launched its independently developed high-reliability hydrogen supply system, which has passed onboard installation validation and safety testing for new energy locomotives. The system supports the development of various hydrogen-powered rolling stock and contributes to the green transformation of transportation. In addition, CRRC exhibited products including high-capacity intelligent electrolyzers, PTFE gaskets, and PPS membranes.
