On May 11, the first high-altitude wind turbine generator set rolled off the production line at the newly commissioned CRRC Delingha New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industry Park.
This high-altitude wind turbine model, along with the 5.X MWh energy storage system currently in mass production, is engineered by CRRC specifically for high-altitude applications. It is designed to operate safely, efficiently, and stably under harsh conditions such as high altitude, strong turbulence, intense radiation, strong sandstorms, low temperature, and low atmospheric pressure.
The Park will serve as the largest, most integrated industry base for wind, solar, hydrogen, and energy storage in western China, enabling the full clean energy equipment value chain—from generation and grid integration to consumption— to be developed, manufactured, and used locally in Qinghai.
Looking ahead, CRRC will, based on the CRRC Delingha project, work together with Qinghai, leveraging local natural resources and the strengths of CRRC's industrial chain to jointly set an example in collaboration for advancing China’s clean energy industry.
