By March 3, Indonesia’s Jakarta-Badung High-Speed Railway had operated for 139 days, and had accumulatively transported 2 million passengers, with the passenger flow maintaining a high level. At present, the number of EMUs operated daily has been increased from 14 in the initial operation to 40, with highest daily passenger volume reaching 21,537 and highest occupation rate reaching 99.6%
Jakarta-Badung High-Speed Railway connects Indonesia’s capital Jakarta and the famous tourist city Badung. It started operation on October 17, 2023, with a maximum operational speed of 350km/h, shortening the commute time between the two cities from the original over 3 hours to 46 minutes, and providing faster and more comfortable traveling experiences for people in Indonesia.
