October 17th marked the first anniversary of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, on which CRRC Eco-Connect Center (Indonesia) was inaugurated in Jakarta, providing a new platform for promoting cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia.
Since its launch one year ago, the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway (HSR) has handled a total of 5.79 million passenger trips, with a maximum daily occupancy rate of 99.6%. The KCIC400AF high-speed train, designed and manufactured by CRRC with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, has safely operated for over 2.57 million kilometers in Indonesia, reducing the travel time between the two cities from over 3 hours to 40+ minutes, and driving the country into the "high-speed railway era". That is why the project is considered "a golden brand" of China-Indonesia cooperation under the B&R initiative.
CRRC Eco-Connect Center (Indonesia) is located at Halim Station in Jakarta, allowing Indonesian people to have a more comprehensive understanding of CRRC and trends in rail transit technology without leaving the country. Its showroom provides a floor area of up to 350 square meters. Focusing on sustainable development and cultural exchanges, it is divided into multiple functional areas, such as model train wall and VR interaction, display of Chinese and Indonesian cultures, naked eye 3D digital display, Jakarta-Bandung HSR photo wall, and public works corridor. Digital and immersive means are fully leveraged to present the charm of Chinese and Indonesian cultures and the advanced HSR technologies in a three-dimensional way.
