FORM: 21/07/2024 Browse number:

The new energy light rail trains developed by CRRC Tangshan are now put into commercial operation for the first time in South America.

These trains are customized with large-sized wide-angle windows and side-roof windows, with their line and color schemes featuring Quebrada de Humahuaca. Adopting a 2-car formation, they accommodates 70 passengers and provides a maximum operating speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The trains are expected to capitalize on the existing local infrastructure facilities and solar photovoltaic power generation resources, and are driven by lithium iron phosphate batteries, reflecting the local green and low-carbon economic development policies, which are quite aligned with CRRCs design concepts of green mobility, comfort and safety.

The light rail trains operate in Quebrada de Humahuaca, providing Argentine people with an efficient, convenient, green and comfortable travel experience, further enriching and refining the local transportation network, and injecting new vitality into the economies and cultures along the line.
