This wagon is suitable to operate on domestic standard gauge track and mainly used to transport coal. Cargos are to be loaded by loading machine or bin and unloaded by continuously automatic bottom door unloading. This wagon is mainly comprised of wagon body, bogie, brake system and coupler & draft gear. The car body is mainly comprised of under-frame, side wall, end wall and hopper assembly. The main bearing structure of under-frame adopts high strength weathering resistant steel; the material of side wall and end wall are aluminum alloy; the area where hopper contacts with cargos is stainless steel. In order to reduce the dead weight and improve the load capacity, the wagons adopt new material and new process to fulfill the lightweight design. Side wall and end wall assembly adopt aluminum alloy. The frication and stir welding with modular design is adopted for integrated side wall and end wall. It shall adopt the built-in side post and fully utilize outline gauge to increase the volume and greatly reduce the wind-resistance. DZ5 bogie is installed and the control valve is relaying 150 valve. DAB-1 integrated brake device with the proprietary intellectual property, NSW hand brake or APB-1 parking automatic brake device, Grade E steel No.17 coupler, shortened drawbar, Twin-Pack double box buffer or HDDG polyester elastic elastomeric buffer are installed to the wagon.
