Xiangyang Branch of CRRC Luoyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Branch”) is an important locomotive maintenance base of the company. Located in the eastern suburbs of Xiangyang City, the Branch covers an area of 113 hectares, including 42.3 hectares of production area. It is situated in the junction of Xiangyang-Chongqing Railway, Wuhan-Danjiang Railway and Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway and in the center of Y-shape transportation network of Central China, Northwest China and Southwest China, enjoying geographical advantages and convenient railway and expressway network. The Branch currently has 1626 employees, including 400 managerial and specialized technical personnel, 162 intermediate and senior technical personnel and 151 technicians and senior technicians. The locomotive repair business covers 12 types of diesel locomotives including DF4 series, DF5, DF7 series, DF8B, DF10D and DF12 and electric locomotives including SS3, SS4 and SS6B series. It has the annual repair capacity of 300 sets of diesel locomotives and 50 sets of electric locomotives. Meanwhile, relying on the locomotive maintenance business, the Branch undertakes maintenance and manufacturing business of large components including locomotive wheelsets, locomotive motors and construction machinery. It has an annual maintenance capacity of 3000 wheelsets and large component maintenance capacity of all types of locomotive motors. The construction machinery maintenance business involves railway bridge girder erection machines, track-laying machines and electrified operation vehicles, etc. It is equipped with over 1800 sets of specialized equipment of all types. The Branch was awarded successively “National Advanced Enterprise for Environmental Protection”, “Credit Enterprise of Hubei Province”, “Best Civilized Enterprise of Hubei Province” and “AAA Class Credit Enterprise”. The Branch passed the certification of ISO9001 Quality Management System in 2000, passed the certification of International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) system certification in May 2013, passed the certification of ISO14001:1996 environmental management system and OHSAS18001:2001 in 2005, and passed the compliance inspection for national grade I safety standardization in November 2013.
