On December 13, CRRC Ziyang Company officially inaugurated its overseas “Service Home” at its service station in Malaysia—a significant step under the company’s three-year “Building Homes Across Borders” initiative aimed at deepening care and support for employees working abroad.
This warm and welcoming space integrates work, daily life, and cultural exchange, not only enhancing the company's local service capabilities but also embodying thoughtful, human-centered care for its overseas workforce. It has quickly become a shared “home” for both Chinese expatriates and local Malaysian colleagues.
"The company will always be the most solid backing for everyone," Huang Hai, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Labor Union of CRRC Ziyang, conveyed the company's warmth at the licensing ceremony. He affirmed the outstanding achievements made by the service team through unity and collaboration in overcoming difficulties under Malaysia's hot, humid, rainy and thunderstorm-prone climatic conditions.
As part of the event, the company’s labor union presented each employee with carefully selected gifts: hometown specialties for Chinese staff and practical yet culturally distinctive Chinese-themed presents for Malaysian colleagues. These tokens of appreciation, bridging continents and cultures, brought warmth and smiles to everyone present.
This marks CRRC Ziyang’s third overseas “After-Sales Service Home,” following successful launches in Sierra Leone and Kazakhstan. Through its ongoing “Building Homes Across Borders” program, the company continues to systematically enhance its overseas employee support mechanisms, gradually establishing a comprehensive care system that spans work, living conditions, health, and cultural integration—thereby promoting localization and cohesive team development in international operations.
In October 2023, CRRC Ziyang delivered 8 locomotives to Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project—a flagship initiative under the China-Malaysia Belt and Road cooperation framework. The company has earned strong trust and high recognition from clients thanks to its high-quality locomotives and professional, efficient maintenance services.
The official launch of this new “Service Home” is expected to further strengthen logistical support and long-term service capacity for the ECRL project. By fostering a sense of belonging through the warmth of “home,” CRRC Ziyang aims to boost team cohesion and service excellence, providing even more robust support for the high-quality advancement of Belt and Road projects.
