From November 26 to 27, the 3rd International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development-2024 Forum was held in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan. Nearly 800 representatives from 45 countries in the fields of road, railway, aviation and ships attended the conference, aiming to promote global partnerships in transport and logistics.
As an excellent partner of the railway industry in Turkmenistan, CRRC Ziyang was invited by the Railway Administration of Turkmenistan to attend this forum and deliver a keynote speech. The Company is the only Chinese rail transit equipment enterprise invited to participate in this forum.
Senior officials from international organizations and countries in the field of transportation such as the United Nations, IRU, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Qatar attended the forum. Li Xining, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of CRRC Ziyang, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Connect the World, Drive the Future Smartly".

In this keynote speech, CRRC Ziyang introduced its innovative achievements in the fields of locomotive design, manufacturing and intelligent technology, reviewed its cooperation with the Central Asian market, and shared its practical cases in the R&D of green locomotives and the application of energy-saving and emission reduction technologies. In view of the development of locomotive innovation technology and rail transit transformation,the company put forward unique insights and practical solutions, which won high praise and wide acclaim from the guests present.
During the visit, senior officials such as Chinese ambassador to Turkmenistan, director-general of Turkmenistan Transport and Communications Agency, director-general of Turkmenistan Railways Agency, general manager of Open Joint Stock Company of Turkmenistan Railways, deputy minister of Ministry of Transportation Infrastructure of Turkey, and customers from more than ten countries including Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates exchanged views on locomotive export with the company. Turkmenistan National Television conducted an exclusive interview with the company.
Up to now, CRRC Ziyang has provided more than 1100 locomotives to 34 countries around the world, accounting for more than 50% of China's total exported diesel locomotives. Among them, 595 locomotives were exported to the Central Asian market including Turkmenistan, becoming China's earliest locomotive development enterprise entering the Central Asian market, providing the largest number of locomotives with the most complete varieties, carrying out EAC certification at the earliest time and having the most certified products.
