On November 5, as the long rail straight-laying machine completed 500m long rail into the groove at CH93+400, a total of 300.6km long railway was directly laid on the main line of Malaysia East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), accounting for 50% of the total length of the main line (about 600km). CRRC Ziyang locomotives have won the phased victory in the track laying project.
This milestone coincides with the first anniversary of the successful operation of Ziyang Locomotives in Kuantan Track-laying Base, Malaysia. CRRC Ziyang Locomotive, as the key equipment for track laying construction of Malaysia ECRL, have undertaken many heavy tasks such as long-track transportation, ballast transportation, rail welding material transportation and shunting within the base.
Facing high-intensity working conditions, CRRC Ziyang Locomotives have shown good stability and reliability. Over the past year, the locomotives worked frequently every day for more than 10 hours on average, and some locomotives have even worked continuously for more than 20 hours, which effectively ensured the smooth progress of the project construction.
These locomotives have won high praise from the project partners for its outstanding performance. The project party hereby awards CRRC Ziyang with the title of "Excellent Supplier", fully affirming the high-quality locomotives and professional and efficient services provided by CRRC Ziyang.
The good application of Ziyang Locomotive in the Malaysia ECRL Project not only demonstrates the technical strength of China's rail transit equipment, but also injects new impetus into the friendly cooperation between China and Malaysia.
