The time caresses, the friendship is long. We have celebrated the first anniversary of CRRC and Kazakhstan Temir Zholys signing a cooperation framework agreement.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative in October 2023, witnessed by President Tokayev of Kazakhstan, CRRC and Kazakhstan Temir Zholys signed a cooperation framework agreement, marking a solid step forward in deepening rail transit cooperation between the two countries.
Over the past year, the company has strictly followed the requirements of the cooperation framework agreement and meticulously tailored CKD6S shunting locomotive for Kazakhstan Temir Zholys. It is also the first diesel locomotive in China that meets the EAC certification requirements of Customs Union and a model of technology and quality.
In June this year, two CKD6S shunting locomotives rolled off the production line and arrived in Kazakhstan. In July, Kazakhstan Altynkol Locomotive Depot held a grand welcome ceremony for the new locomotives. This is not only a high recognition of the new locomotives, but also a gift to the SCO summit.
In October this year, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Warren Basha, Vice President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholys, sent a congratulatory letter to CRRC Ziyang Company and expressed his best wishes for CRRC Ziyang Company with deep affection. "The years of close cooperation between the two sides have significantly improved the transportation and logistics capacity between Kazakhstan and China," he highly appraised in his letter.
In order to further improve the service capability of overseas markets, CRRC Ziyang has set up an after-sales service station in Astana, Kazakhstan. This is not only a deep concern for overseas employees, but also a firm commitment to deepen the friendship between China and Kazakhstan.
The continuous promotion of China-Kazakhstan cooperation is a vivid epitome of CRRC Ziyang in practicing the Belt and Road Initiative. Up to now, CRRC Ziyang has provided more than 1100 locomotives to 34 countries along the Belt and Road around the world, accounting for more than 50% of China's total exported diesel locomotives.
