On July 2, Kazakhstan Altynkol Railway Depot held an official welcome ceremony for the newly arrived first CKD6S shunting locomotive "made by CRRC Ziyang".
This is not only a warm welcome for the smooth arrival of new locomotives, but also a congratulatory gift for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
This type of locomotive is a high-end diesel locomotive tailored by CRRC Ziyang for Kazakhstan railway and also the first diesel locomotive in China that meets the EAC certification requirements of Customs Union countries. It was successfully rolled off the production line at CRRC Ziyang on June 10 and arrived in Kazakhstan on June 25.
Since 2005, CRRC Ziyang has started cooperation with railway users in Kazakhstan. CRRC Ziyang has successively provided 191 main-line and shunting diesel locomotives to Kazakhstan, covering the national railway, railway transportation companies and factories and mines in that country.
From Almaty to East Kazakhstan, from bustling cities to remote ports, the locomotives have become the main traction power for freight transfer and cross-border transportation in major cities of Kazakhstan.
"Serving Central Asia and Building a Road of Prosperity Together", CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd. is moving forward with firm steps. Since 2004, CRRC Ziyang has been deeply engaged in the Central Asian market for 20 years. It has provided 475 locomotives of various types to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other Central Asian countries. It is China's earliest diesel locomotive development enterprise that entered the Central Asian market, exported the largest number of locomotives, supplied the most complete types of locomotives and carried out EAC certification.
In the future, CRRC Ziyang will continue to adhere to the concept of open cooperation and mutual benefit, and work hand in hand with Central Asian countries to create a better tomorrow.
