DF8BJ diesel locomotive is a standard-gauge AC transmission locomotive for main line transportation, which is jointly developed by CRRC Ziyang and CRRC Zhuzhou Institute in 2001. The locomotive adopts double driver's cabs and inside corridor structure, equipped with a 16V280ZJG diesel engine, with a service power of 4000kw and a maximum operating speed of 120km/h. The locomotive is a new type of high-power AC transmission diesel locomotive designed to meet the needs of heavy load and fast traction of Chinese railways. |
