The locomotive adopts double driver's cabs and inside corridor structure, equipped with a CAT 3512B diesel engine, with a service power of 1340KW and a maximum operating speed of 100km/h. It is suitable for operation in high ambient temperature, heavy sand environment and poor track condition.
