CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Wind Completes First Overseas Wind Turbine Export Project in Vietnam
Gia Lai Province, Vietnam — CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Wind has successfully delivered its first overseas wind turbine export project, the Shuang'an Wind Farm, located in Song An Township, An Khe County, Gia Lai Province, Vietnam.
The project comprises 14 WT3300D160H140 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 46.2 MW, installed at a site elevation of 415–500 metres. The first shipment of turbine equipment departed Yangjiang Port aboard the YU CHANG cargo vessel in July 2022, marking a significant milestone in CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Wind's international expansion.
The Shuang'an Wind Farm generates approximately 120 million kWh of clean electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 100,000 tonnes per year — the equivalent of planting approximately 5.5 million trees each year.
The project represents a landmark step in CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Wind's global clean energy strategy, demonstrating the company's capacity to deliver reliable wind power solutions across diverse international markets.
