Proposal 1:

In view of the implementation of the EU CBAM in 2026, we present a financeable 100 MW green hydrogen–green ammonia production standard solution, equipped with:

- 250–300 MW wind-solar hybrid power source

- 50 MW/100 MWh energy storage system

- 100 MW high-efficiency alkaline electrolyzer system (20,000 Nm³/h)

The project has an annual output of approximately 45,000 tons of green ammonia.

Assuming traditional grey ammonia/blue ammonia emits 2.82 tCO₂e per ton of ammonia, and the free ammonia allowance (2026) is about 1.522 tCO₂e per ton, with a carbon price of €90/tCO₂e (as of January 2026), the annual carbon cost hedging benefit will reach approximately €5.3 million.

As free allowances under the EU ETS are gradually phased out, this benefit will show a structural upward trend.
