CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Supports the Successful Commissioning of Datang Shichengzi Integrated CSP-PV Clean Energy Project

Recently, the China Datang Shichengzi Integrated Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and Photovoltaic (PV) Clean Energy Project has been successfully commissioned. This project stands as a typical example of the collaborative development of PV and CSP technologies in sandy, gravelly and barren desert climates, providing scientific basis and guidance for the advancement of the new energy sector. CRRC Zhuzhou Institute has been deeply involved in the project, supplying string inverters for photovoltaic systems and an intelligent operation and maintenance (O&M) empirical monitoring system.

The commissioned empirical base employs multiple models of PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, and 46 heat collection loops, while being equipped with 14 sets of high-precision meteorological monitoring devices. It can formulate over 100 testing schemes, serving as a crucial data support for equipment selection and construction layout in future PV power plants.

CRRC's PV intelligent O&M empirical monitoring system is centered on the core positioning of "full-dimensional perception, full-scenario coverage, and full-process intelligence," establishing a closed-loop management system from data collection to decision execution. The system integrates multiple functions, including high-precision meteorological monitoring, equipment status sensing, and energy efficiency analysis and evaluation. It can real-time capture the operating parameters of key equipment such as PV modules, inverters, and CSP heat collection loops, as well as environmental data like wind speed, solar irradiance, and temperature—enabling "second-level response and full-range monitoring" for gigawatt-scale power plants.

CRRC Zhuzhou Institute will continue to deepen its focus on new energy equipment and intelligent O&M technologies. It will leverage more advanced solutions to drive the high-quality development of China's clean energy industry and contribute CRRC's strength to the achievement of the national "dual carbon" goals (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality).
