CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd. has supported the full-line deployment of Hefei Metro Line 6 trains

The company's independently developed Fully Automatic Operation (FAO) system has inaugurated a new era of unattended train operation (UTO) in rail transit.

The Hefei Metro Line 6 Phase I project spans 35 kilometers with 22 stations, connecting key urban areas. It features the GoA4-grade Fully Automatic Operation (FAO) system provided by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, the highest international automation standard.

FAO System Capabilities:

1、Full Automation: Automatic wake-up, departure, operation, washing, stabling, and dormancy.

2、Scenario Optimization: 48 FAO scenarios (22 normal, 10 fault, 16 emergency) ensure adaptability across diverse conditions.

Five core systems—rolling stock, signaling, integrated monitoring, communications, and platform screen doors—are meticulously designed around these scenarios through collaborative engineering. This ensures safe, stable, and efficient operations under complex environments.
