Intelligent Welding Production Line

The coupler, bolster, and buffer assembly (CBB assembly) comprises the traction beam, bolster beam, and buffer beam. It is an essential component of the steel structure of railway vehicle bodies and plays a significant role in the traction and braking forces of the vehicle. The production line has a capacity of producing four units per day in a single shift, which can meet the welding production requirements for carbon steel CBB components of 160 km/h power-concentrated EMUs, as well as 25G and 25T type vehicles.

The overall production layout is divided into three independent sub-production areas for the group welding of traction beams, bolster beams, and buffer beams, with internal processes flowing according to the technological sequence. The production line is centrally coordinated and controlled from a central control room.

Each sub-production area adopts a U-shaped layout to ensure that the material import and export are on the same side, connecting to the main logistics channel. This facilitates material flow without affecting the production area.

Flexible jigging and clamping fixtures, welding fixtures, and arc welding robot technology are employed to meet the production needs for different types of CBB components, improving production efficiency, reducing labor intensity, and enhancing the consistency of welding quality.

Anti-deformation fixture design is used to minimize welding deformation.
