CRRC Dalian R&D Co., Ltd. (CRRC Dalian R&D) was established in June 2001. It is a high-tech enterprise under CRRC that specializes in the development and application of traction system and network control system products for railway vehicles. It is reorganized and integrated with CRRC Yongji Electric Co., Ltd. in May 2020.
CRRC Dalian R&D has nearly 500 employees, technology R&D persons account for 70%, in which, persons with education above the level of doctor and master account for 90%. In total, CRRC Dalian R&D has applied for over 1200 patents and obtained over 780 authorized patents. The company has many national and innovation platforms, such as “State Key Laboratory for EMU and Locomotive Traction and Control” (SKL), “National ‘Belt and Road’ Joint Laboratory”, “Demonstrative National and International Cooperation Base”, “National High-tech Enterprise”, “CRRC – Czech Technical University Traction Control Joint Research Center”, etc.
Since 2007, CRRC Dalian R&D has successively passed ISO9001, IRIS, ISO14000, and OHSAS18000 certifications, and the control products of CRRC Dalian R&D have passed SIL2 functional safety certification and software capability maturity CMMI level 3 certification.
The testing capability of SKL has passed the approval of CNAS. The SKL owns a series of laboratories reaching international advanced level including traction and network control system simulation lab, converter reliability simulation lab, network control system integration and test lab, network consistency testing lab, electromagnetic compatibility lab, environmental lab, wheeltrack stick-slip experiment system platform, locomotive/EMU/urban rail vehicle traction system experiment platform, data analysis and processing center, etc. and may provide reliable, advanced and complete experiment system guarantee of electric traction and control technology research of railway transportation equipment and other field and multiple experimental study and experimental verification of electronic and electric products. Moreover, combining with the annular testing line, it could support to carry out the whole vehicle characteristics test, electromagnetic compatibility test, noise test, etc.
CRRC Dalian R&D has fully grasped the key core technologies of electric traction and control field. The traction and control products with completely independent intellectual property rights have been popularized and applied in the field of locomotive, EMU, urban rail vehicle, new type wagon, new business and new industry.
CRRC Dalian R&D owns a complete system of product assembly, commissioning, inspection, delivery and user service, and can carry out the overhaul and maintenance business, testing and evaluation services and comprehensive technical services.
