Yongji Electric successfully developedthe nation's first DC and AC asynchrounous oil-drilling motors with variable frequency in 1998, which markedthe end of the history of dependenct on imported motors. The achievement filled the gap in domestic oil-drilling motors. The company take responsibility for working on the national industry standard of oil-drilling motors.

DC&AC oil-drilling motors ranging from 200kw to 1600kw have over 23 power series and 160 types, which can be equipped in the 1000m-12000m drilling-rigs of both the land and oceans. The company's oil products are widely distributed in 14 Petroleum Administrative Bureaus in China and are exported to USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, etc.
