CRRC SHENYANG CO., LTD. is subordinate to CRRC Corporation Limited, and it was formerly Shenyang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Plant, which was founded in 1925. On Jun. 18, 2002, Shenyang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. was invested and established, and was formally renamed to be CRRC Shenyang Co., Ltd. on Jan. 6, 2016.

The company was settled in No. 28, Kaifa Road, Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone from the old plant in Huanggu District in 2009. The floor area of the new plant is 860,000 square meters, and the building area is 290,000 square meters. The plant mainly include new freight cars manufacturing workshop, freight cars repair workshop, spare parts building workshop, power source support workshop, and braking accessories building workshop. There are 9 production branch factories in the company, and establishes 3 branch companies, 2 sole subsidiaries and 4 joint ventures.

The company’s main products are new railway freight cars manufacturing, repair, and railway accessories manufacturing, and we have been the leading enterprise in railway freight cars repair and the backbone enterprise in new freight cars manufacturing. After entire settlement and enterprise reconstruction, the freight cars technological equipment level of the company has reached domestic leading level and advanced level of the world. We have the annual production capacity of 5,000 new railway freight cars and repair of 15,000 freight cars, which largely improves the enterprise core competitive power.

The company is one of the leading design enterprises of railway freight cars. The T11BK 500-meter-long rail train set developed independently by The company obtained the first prize of the Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Railways, and the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. The rail replacement job train set developed for Beijing Subway Company has been put into operation successfully. Many products developed independently are launched to the market in succession, such as GHA70A paraxylene tank car, enterprise railroad sightseeingcar, and GY95SK、GY100SK、GH17D energy source and chemical industry tank cars, and among of these, GHA70A paraxylene tank car was ranked as national key new product in 2012. We developed independently four types of trucks – flat car, cementing truck, ore car and coal hopper car, have entered the world market successfully, and we become the primary supplier in Tasmania railway market, Australia. The research project of meter gauge railway exported to Tasmania Australia had the honour to win the second prize of Science and Technology Award of China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry Group Corporation in 2015, and the projects of road-railway combined transport car, 160km/h fast freight car and bogie in which The company participated are listed as major projects of science and technology research and development program of China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry Group Corporation in 2016.

Beside the entire product of railway wagon, the company also has outstanding advantage in researching and developing railway locomotive, buses, and trucks, and the brake products of urban rail and subway, through joint investment and cooperation with Wabtec Corporation. The BAB (TMX) integrated braking device which is developed jointly with Wabtec Corporation and CRRC Qiqihar Company has been put into operation. The company entered construction machinery trade and high speed railway line products market, and we can produce construction mechanical equipment, large-scale steel structure, high speed railway line bridge bearing, etc. The company also deals in logistics business including metal materials, steel products, building materials, and can undertake casting, forging, punching, machining of mechanical parts and assembly. In recent years, The company accelerates the transformation step from a manufacturing enterprise to production and service oriented enterprise, enhances relative multiple market development, sets up Equipment Branch Company and Measurement Management Branch Company successively and actively undertakes business of equipment maintenance and measurement and detection.
