The "Digital Wisdom Green Traction for a Low-carbon Future" rail transit equipment transformation and upgrading - Series of New Energy Locomotives Releasing Conference was held in Beijing. CRRC released series of new energy locomotives for the first time in the world, and 7 representative models were unveiled. The series of locomotives have three power configurations of "Internal Combustion Engine + Power Battery", "Power Battery" and "Hydrogen Fuel Cell", covering a variety of powers from 1000 kW to 2000 kW, which can achieve low carbon or zero carbon emissions, low noise and high efficiency operation, and will effectively solve the problems of "High fuel consumption, high emission, loud noise and poor comfort" of old diesel locomotives.
Sun Yongcai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Board Chairman of CRRC Group, and members of his team and heads of relevant departments of CRRC headquarters went to the launch site of serialization of new energy locomotives to coordinate and command the promotion of activities. Sun Yongcai said that at the just-held National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Awards Conference, and the Academician Conference of the two academies, the “Fuxing High-speed Train” won the National Science and Technology Progress Grand Prize. The release of this serialized new energy locomotive is a concrete manifestation of China CRRC's implementation of the national “dual-carbon” strategy, adhering to the concept of green development, and promoting the sustainable, green and high-quality development of the global rail transit industry.

Three new energy locomotives developed by CRRC Dalian Company were unveiled at the Centre position at the press conference. The new energy locomotives use "internal combustion engine + power battery", power battery and hydrogen fuel system, realizing the transformation of "traditional fossil energy" to hybrid and clean energy. The advanced nature of new energy locomotives is mainly reflected in the five aspects of "Green, Intelligent, Safe, Economic and Reliable".
