On January 16, the Ningbo Metro Line 6 was officially opened, with metro trains manufactured by CRRC ZELC entering service.
The first phase of Line 6 runs west from Gulin Station in Haishu District to Honglian Station in Beilun District, with a total of 23 underground stations along the route. It connects four key areas: the Gulin Jishigang area, the core Sanjiangkou area, the High-tech Zone, and Xiaogang in Beilun. The project initially adopts 37 fully automatic operation (FAO) trains with a maximum operation speed of 100 km/h and is equipped with technologies such as permanent magnet synchronous traction systems and dedicated rail return systems.
To ensure the high-quality operation of Line 6, in accordance with the requirements of the comprehensive urban rail service system, CRRC ELC has fully leveraged the advantages of localized services provided by its subsidiaries in other regions. In collaboration with Ningbo CRRC Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd., CRRC ZELC has established a professional after-sales service team.
