Recently, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions released the list of National Model Worker and Craftsman Innovation Studios in 2025. The Xie Guangming Innovation Studio of CRRC ZELC has been selected.
Founded in 2018, the Xie Guangming Innovation Studio is led by Comrade Xie Guangming, who is a recipient of the National May 1st Labor Medal and an expert receiving special allowance from the State Council. The Studio focuses on pain points and challenges in locomotive production and manufacturing, and addresses industrial technical bottlenecks. It carries out specialized technical research, optimizes manufacturing processes, and transforms achievements. In recent years, the Studio has completed over 20 major innovation projects, tackled industry challenges such as power loss in EMU battery, and it has secured numerous patents and won several prestigious scientific awards.
