On July 8, the 12th World Congress on High-Speed Rail and the 17th China International Modern Railway Technology & Equipment Exhibition kicked off in Beijing.
At the exhibition, CRRC ZELC showcased a range of self-developed products. The star attraction was the Fenghuang Maglev Express (the medium-low speed electromagnetic maglev train), which represents the latest global achievement in mid-low speed maglev technology R&D. It demonstrated the cultural charm of Fenghuang Ancient Town in West Hunan and the extraordinary appeal of China's Intelligent Manufacturing to the world by "flying above the tracks".
With over 650,000 kilometers of "track-skimming slide", safe transportation of nearly 1.3 million passengers and a total of 66,971 train journeys, the Fenghuang Maglev Express has demonstrated the outstanding performance since its inauguration.
In addition, the exhibition featured CRRC ZELC's Fuxing CR200JS-G plateau dual-power concentrated EMU and new-generation intelligent heavy-haul electric locomotives, further demonstrating the company’s cutting-edge railway innovations.
