On June 30, the opening ceremony of Ningbo Metro Line 8 Phase I was held at Zemin Station, with metro trains developed by CRRC ZELC officially entering into service.
Line 8 Phase I is CRRC ZELC's inaugural project featuring a series of China Standard Metro Type 80B with fully autonomous operation. Spanning 23.3 kilometers entirely underground, it comprises 19 stations operating from Kaiyuan Road Station to Hansong Road Station.
Upon the opening of Line 8 Phase I, the operating mileage of Ningbo Rail Transit will reach 222 kilometers, further advancing the construction of the city's high-quality, multi-modal integrated and citywide rail transit system.
