On May 20, the CKD6H hybrid locomotive, a new-energy cooperation collaborative project between CRRC and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), was officially rolled off the production line at CRRC Ziyang Locomotive Co., Ltd. and will be shipped to Kazakhstan in June.
As a vivid practice of the Belt and Road Initiative, this batch of locomotives will inject green momentum into Kazakhstan's railway transportation, contributing to regional connectivity and common development.
Upon arrival in Kazakhstan, this locomotive will undergo Eurasian Conformity (EAC certiification) using China's new-energy locomotive as the reference. This marks the first time for China's new-energy locomotive standards have been adopted by an overseas country as certification criteria.
