CR240E mine dump truck, a mine “Jumbo” developed by CRRC Datong Company, has exceeded 1,000 kilometers in the full-load assessment stage of Qidashan Iron Mine of Ansteel Group Mining Corporation Limited, with an average daily transportation volume of more than 5,500 tons. The industrial test of domestic large tonnage mine dump truck has entered the most critical stage.
CR240E mine dump truck developed by CRRC Datong is an advanced equipment product promoted by the innovation of “new infrastructure” industry. The truck fully integrates intelligent design and manufacture, which realizes the localization of core components and key technologies such as electric drive system. In August last year, the truck started industrial test in Qidashan Iron Mine of ANSTEEL Group, and went through many links such as truck assembly, system debugging, no-load operation as well as half-load operation, and officially entered the stage of double-shift full-load operation in the near future.
Industrial test is a practical test method to investigate the comprehensive performance of technical products, and double-shift full load is the most critical test item of products, which will fully verify the performance of mine trucks and auxiliary intelligent equipment. During the test period, CR240E mine truck was incorporated into active production vehicles by Qidashan Mine for unified management and driving, and experienced the test of harsh operating environment such as dryness, low temperature, rain and snow and long-distance heavy-duty climbing. “This ‘Jumbo’ enables me to enjoy a good driving experience, and its functionality and stability are very powerful. The load capacity is nearly 40 tons higher than our existing mine trucks.” A mine car driver of Qidashan Mine said.
CRRC Datong regards mining equipment manufacturing industry as an emerging pillar industry, so as toaccelerates the construction of a new advanced manufacturing cluster base. In this way, it lays a solid foundation for a good innovation ecology in which “new infrastructure” and emerging industries promote each other.
