The Technology Center Research Institute has orderly promoted the construction of electrical system design platform for mining dump trucks, laying a solid foundation for cultivating mining dump trucks as the company's pillar industry in future.
Different from the mature electric locomotive design of the company, the electrical system design of the existing mining dump truck is wholly outsourced with high cost, low efficiency and long period, which is controlled by others as it relies on the core technical data such as model selection, calculation, drawings and specifications provided by the supplier, and cannot meet the strategic development needs of the company.
In order to break through the bottleneck restricting the electric design of mining truck as soon as possible, the research institute not only solicited the opinions of manufacturing departments and other departments, but also learned from the design experience of electric system of Northern Shares and XuZhou Construction Machinery Group, sorted out the idea of building the electrical system design platform of mining dump truck in a self-centered manner by relying on the existing mature locomotive design platform. First, they collected mining truck standards through multiple channels, and initially established the mining truck design standard library, providing basis for designers to adopt advanced standards in new car design; Second, relying on the application assessment of CR240E mining dump truck and CR330E new car design, they made simple design from interchangeability of components, maintenance and servicing interface, reduced the purchase cost, shortened the purchasing cycle and established a mining truck supplier system for the company; Third, they classified the logic functions and power supplies, built a hierarchical protection framework, and transplanted the mature control concept of locomotives to mining truck; Fourth, they carried out independent cab design of large core components to form a cab style with company characteristics.
Based on the electrical design platform of mining dump truck, the research institute has rectified the common problems exposed in the application assessment of CR240E mine dump truck in Qidashan Mine of Anshan Iron & Steel Group in time, independently output the electrical drawing of CR330E mine dump truck at the end of April, and is currently working on an autonomous design for the cab. In the future, the research institute will continue to improve the mining truck electrical system design platform according to the similarities and differences of mining truck and locomotive, so as to ensure the quality of mining truck from the design.
