CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. has officially passed the highest level—Level 5 “Optimized”—of China’s Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment Model (DCMM), becoming the first enterprise in the rail transit industry to receive this distinction. The certification signifies that the company has reached an advanced national standard in data management capability.
DCMM is China’s first national standard system for data management. The Level 5 certification requires outstanding quantitative data management and continuous optimization capabilities, and—importantly for the first time—evaluates an enterprise’s industry influence, including contributions to industry advancement, standard-setting, and visibility on high-level professional platforms.
Leveraging its deep experience in rail transit data governance, CRRC Changchun Railway has led or participated in the development of 21 national data-related standards, presented consecutively at major international platforms such as the World High-Speed Rail Conference and the Annual Data Governance Forum, and actively joined authoritative competitions such as the Industrial Internet Contest. Building on its Level 4 certification obtained in 2024, the company strengthened key areas including data standards and full lifecycle data management, enabling it to achieve Level 5 certification with high scores.
Recently, CRRC Changchun Railway was also selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as one of the primary units for the “2025 Manufacturing Digital Transformation Promotion Centers”, and was named one of the “Top 10 Chinese Data Management Brands of 2025” by the China Electronics Information Industry Development Academy—further demonstrating its strength in the digital and intelligent technologies domain.
