【International Cooperation and Development】Double Recognition: CRRC’s “Travel the World by Train” Campaign Selected as an Outstanding Case in China’s International Corporate Image Building

  On November 9, the 2025 China Corporate Global Image Summit was held in Hefei, Anhui. The event was guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG).

  With the theme “Leading with Technology, Shaping an Intelligent Future,” the Summit brought together representatives from more than 120 enterprises, government officials, business associations, academic institutions, and over one hundred media organizations to to exchange insights on enhancing the global visibility and reputation of Chinese enterprises.

  At the Summit, two CRRC cases from the “Travel the World by Train” series, Eco-Connect Exchange Space Supporting CRRC Changchun’s Multidimensional Engagement in the Brazilian Market” and “ESG Implementation in the Mexico City Metro Line 1 Modernization Project by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive”, were both recognized as Outstanding Cases in International Corporate Image Building. These awards highlight how China’s high-end equipment manufacturing is integrating “technology + culture” as it expands globally, further embedding itself into the international high-value industrial chain.

  Case 1: “Eco-Connect Exchange Space Supporting CRRC Changchun’s Engagement in Brazil

  Developed as China and Brazil marked the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, this case documents CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles’ efforts to deepen local engagement under its mission of “Connecting the World, Benefiting Humanity.”

  Through the “Five-Basics Model” (localized production, procurement, workforce, service, and management), the company advanced its Brazil edition of the “Travel the World by Train” initiative and established the Eco-Connect Exchange Space, which has supported regional cooperation in science, technology, and culture.

  Case 2: ESG-Driven Modernization of Mexico City Metro Line 1 by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive

  This case focuses on the ESG practices embedded in the comprehensive modernization project of Mexico City Metro Line 1. It showcases a three-dimension collaborative framework: integrating green technologies with local needs, combining hard infrastructure with cultural engagement, and aligning standardized management with efficient partnership cooperation. The project provides a strong example for global rail transit development and demonstrates the responsible international image of Chinese enterprises.
