The China Enterprise Reform and Development Society recently announced the results of the 2025 Outstanding Cases of New Productive Forces Development. Four submissions from CRRC Group—by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd., CRRC Times New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., CRRC Yangtze Co., Ltd., and CRRC Guiyang Co., Ltd.—stood out among more than 500 entries and were selected as outstanding cases.

The winning case from CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. highlights the progress in cultivating new productive forces through three core drivers: technological innovation, deepened reform, and digital empowerment. Together, they demonstrate CRRC’s advancements in breakthrough R&D, organizational vitality, digital and intelligent transformation, and green, low-carbon development—representing strong examples of CRRC’s systematic approach to building new productive forces.

The winning case from Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co.,Ltd. focuses on CRRC’s original wind-turbine blade technology and showcases the “laboratory + team + platform” model, illustrating the company’s leading role in driving new productive forces and supporting the high-quality development of offshore wind power. The case is recognized for offering strong demonstration value across the industry.

The winning case from CRRC Yangtze Co., Ltd presents a technology-driven pathway for upgrading traditional equipment manufacturing. By establishing a “systems+” R&D platform, developing a complete portfolio of cold-chain transportation products, and strengthening its intellectual-property framework, the company successfully developed a series of cold-chain rail vehicles represented by the BH1 insulated railcar—providing a practical model for traditional manufacturers seeking to cultivate new productive forces.

The winning case from CRRC Guiyang Co., Ltd showcases digital and intelligent transformation from three dimensions—technological innovation, data-intelligence and talent empowerment, and industrial-ecosystem development—enabling high-efficiency, high-value, and high-quality growth. It represents another “CRRC solution” for developing new productive forces in a systematic and scalable way.
Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, CRRC will build on this momentum, continue deepening its “dual tracks and dual clusters” industrial framework, and promote the practical application of new productive forces across the company. CRRC will continue enhancing competitiveness and resilience while contributing greater “CRRC strength” to China’s modernization.
