On July 8, the 12th World Congress on High-Speed Rail and the 17th China International Modern Railway Technology and Equipment Exhibition opened concurrently in Beijing. This marks the second time the World Congress on High-Speed Rail has been held in China, under the theme: “High-Speed Rail: Innovation and Development for a Better Life.” Sun Yongcai, Party Secretary and Chairman of CRRC Group, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

Under the leadership of China Railway Group, CRRC unveiled the CR450 EMU prototype last year, establishing a 400 km/h high-speed train technology system and achieving comprehensive innovation across theory, technology, equipment, standards, and management models, injecting new momentum into global high-speed rail innovation.
Advancing Green and Smart Standards. CRRC fully implements the “Dual Carbon” strategy, adopting the “6G” approach—green investment, green innovation, green manufacturing, green products, green services, and green enterprises. The company continues to drive innovations in low-, zero-, and negative-carbon technologies while embracing cutting-edge fields such as big data, AI, and IoT to enhance the intelligence, efficiency, safety, integration, and comfortableness of high-speed trains.

At this year’s exhibition, CRRC presented its core railway technology achievements at the China National Convention Center through multimedia, models, and sand tables. At the China Railway Test Center, CRRC displayed 22 full-scale vehicles including the CR450 EMU prototype, new maglev trains, and new energy locomotives—drawing the attention of domestic and international guests and extensive media coverage.
