  During Chinese Premier Li Qiang’s visit to Malaysia, CRRC Chairman Sun Yongcai attended the opening ceremony of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)–China–Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Economic Forum in Kuala Lumpur and participated in a series of related events.

  The forum, held on May 27, brought together leaders from China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Premier Li emphasized deepening trilateral cooperation, aligning development strategies, safeguarding multilateral trade, and ensuring stable industrial and supply chains. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to sharing development opportunities with ASEAN and GCC countries.

  Sun Yongcai, as a representative of Chinese entrepreneurs, joined a meeting with Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid. He stated that CRRC will actively engage in the ASEAN–China–GCC cooperation framework, and expand practical collaboration in rail transit and new energy sectors to support regional industrial development.

  While in Malaysia, Sun visited staff at the LRT3 project site, highlighting CRRC’s focus on safety, professional development, and nurturing skilled local talent.
