On April 8–9, the "CRRC Energy Storage • Powering a Green Future – 2025 CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Energy Storage Ecosystem Partners Conference and Yibin High-Quality Energy Storage Industry Development Forum" was held in Yibin. Nearly 200 upstream and downstream partners from across the energy storage value chain gathered to explore opportunities and chart the future of the industry.
Building Consensus for Collaboration and a Vision for the Industry
At the opening ceremony, Tang Yuanyuan, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Comprehensive Energy Division of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, delivered a welcome address. He noted that under China's dual carbon strategy, the company has established a full clean energy industry chain, and its energy storage system shipments have ranked first nationally for two consecutive years—achievements made possible by the strong support of its partners.
Lan Hongbin, Vice Mayor of Yibin, emphasized the city's commitment to the energy storage sector. He pledged continued improvement in the business environment, industrial support policies, and coordinated efforts to promote high-quality development of the energy storage industry.
Launching New Technologies to Guide Industry Advancement
During the keynote session, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute unveiled its new-generation 6. X series of modular energy storage products, showcasing their technical features and application scenarios. The company also presented its approach to building a "green energy industry ecosystem," shared models of collaborative innovation, and introduced a new value-growth framework for commercial and industrial energy storage. This framework is anchored on three core strengths—platform capability, product capability, and channel capability—to empower partners and foster a win–win industrial ecosystem.
Signing Strategic Partnerships to Foster Win–Win Outcomes
A signing ceremony was held at the conference, where CRRC Zhuzhou Institute entered into cooperation agreements with 10 enterprises, further deepening industrial collaboration and laying a solid foundation for the standardized and scalable growth of the energy storage industry.
Honoring Excellence to Inspire Industry Momentum
An awards ceremony recognized outstanding contributors in the energy storage sector. By acknowledging excellence, the event aimed to encourage continuous advancement across the industry value chain and enhance overall competitiveness, injecting vitality into the sector's development.
Promoting Project Implementation to Accelerate Industry Progress
On April 9, attendees visited the CRRC Times Energy Storage Base in Yibin. The site features industry-leading intelligent production lines and full life-cycle testing platforms. Its independently developed liquid-cooled energy storage systems and other innovations highlighted the institute's strong R&D capabilities and industrialization strength.
The success of this conference not only deepened ecosystem cooperation within CRRC but also accelerated collaborative innovation across the energy storage supply chain. It provided strong momentum toward building a "new high ground" for China's energy storage industry. Looking ahead, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute will continue to play a leading role as a central SOE, working with partners to create a more open, collaborative, and innovative ecosystem—and contribute "Zhuzhou Power" to the global transition to green energy.
