CRRC Qishuyan Company has been recognized as a “Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise” on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 2024 National Green Manufacturing list, as announced by the Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Department.

This designation reflects the company’s progress in advancing green manufacturing, green supply chains, and its commitment to China’s national dual-carbon strategy. It also marks Qishuyan’s second national-level recognition, following its 2023 selection as a “Green Factory.”

Aligned with CRRC Group’s dual-carbon goals, the company integrates low-carbon principles throughout the entire product lifecycle — from design and raw material procurement to manufacturing, logistics, customer use, maintenance, and end-of-life recycling. By aligning with green supply chain management standards, Qishuyan has strengthened carbon reduction efforts across upstream and downstream partners, raising the overall sustainability of its supply chain.

Looking ahead, the company will continue to explore energy-saving and carbon-reduction initiatives, actively pursue the creation of near-zero-carbon factories, and serve as a benchmark in the industry’s green transformation.

About the Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise Program

Green supply chains are one of the three foundational pillars of China’s green manufacturing system. The designation refers to enterprises that embed low-carbon development principles across all stages of the product lifecycle — from design and procurement to production, logistics, sales, usage, and disposal — thereby enhancing resource efficiency and environmental performance across the supply chain.

Organized by the MIIT, the 2024 selection process evaluated companies based on six key dimensions, including green supply chain strategies and industry leadership. Only 126 companies — around 10% of applicants nationwide — were selected for demonstrating strong operational capabilities, robust supply chain foundations, and leadership in green transformation within their industries.
