On October 31, the 5th International Engineering Informatization Management Forum was held in Hefei, bringing together over 120 leading international engineering firms and top domestic technology enterprises. Hosted by the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA), the forum focused on advancing digitalization and intelligent transformation in infrastructure construction. CRRC International was invited to participate and was honored with the “2024 Best Digital Application in International Engineering” award.
As infrastructure development accelerates toward digitalization and smart technologies, the forum aimed to explore new strategies for digital management, deepen digital transformation initiatives, and integrate cutting-edge technologies with traditional industries. It also served as a platform to foster collaboration on high-quality, sustainable international infrastructure projects. Key speakers included Fang Qiuchen, President of CHINCA, and Huang Ying, Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce.
During the event, Yu Jihong, Vice President of CRRC International, delivered a keynote speech titled “CRRC’s Digital Transformation and Overseas DLS Business Development”. He shared insights into CRRC’s digitalization journey in rail transit, its exploration of DLS (Digital Lifecycle Services) in international markets, and future opportunities for collaboration among CHINCA member enterprises. He also discussed the fusion of digital technology with engineering management and the role of digitalization in driving high-quality and sustainable industry growth.
Ahead of the forum, CHINCA launched the “2024 International Engineering Digital Empowerment Case Selection” campaign, which included an extensive evaluation process involving online submissions, initial screenings, and expert reviews. CRRC International’s project, “Digital Collaboration and Management in the Guadalajara Line 4 Project, Mexico”, stood out and was awarded the title of “Best Digital Application Case in International Engineering”. The award ceremony and project showcase were held during the forum.
This national-level 5A industry association recognition marks a milestone for CRRC International’s DLS business and highlights its growing capabilities in project execution and industrial innovation. It reflects the company’s commitment to China’s 14th Five-Year Plan development strategy, its dedication to innovation-driven growth, and its ability to harness cutting-edge digital technologies.
