On November 5, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum officially opened in Shanghai, with Chinese Premier Li Qiang attending the opening ceremony and delivering a keynote speech. The event brought together approximately 1,500 leaders from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations, along with representatives from business and academic sectors.
CRRC Chairman Sun Yongcai was invited to attend the opening ceremony, while CRRC Vice President Lin Cunzeng participated in the Hongqiao International Economic Forum and related activities. During the event, Sun Yongcai, along with other distinguished guests, witnessed the grand opening of the 7th CIIE and listened to Premier Li Qiang’s keynote speech.
CRRC Unveils Smart Manufacturing Breakthroughs at CIIE
At this year’s CIIE, CRRC’s latest technological achievements were on display, showcasing the company's leading capabilities in smart manufacturing. CINOVA H2: The Hydrogen-Powered Smart Intercity Train
Developed by CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., this cutting-edge train operates at a maximum speed of 200 km/h and boasts a range exceeding 1,200 km with a passenger capacity of over 1,000. As a zero-carbon transportation solution, CINOVA H2 is powered by hydrogen, ensuring 100% zero emissions throughout its journey.
Phoenix Culture & Tourism Maglev Train
Developed by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd., this is CRRC’s first “Maglev + Culture + Tourism” train, specifically designed to align with the cultural and geographical characteristics of Phoenix Ancient Town in Hunan Province. The train features an innovative design, eco-friendly technology, high safety standards, and a quiet, comfortable passenger experience.
CRRC Strengthens Global Supply Chain Cooperation
On November 6, during the Hongqiao International Economic Forum’s subforum on “Deepening Industrial and Supply Chain Cooperation for High-Quality Enterprise Development,” co-hosted by SASAC and the Ministry of Commerce, SASAC Deputy Director Gou Ping delivered a speech, with CRRC Vice President Lin Cunzeng attending as an invited guest.
Throughout CIIE, CRRC’s business delegation engaged in commercial exchanges with leading international companies in the technology and equipment exhibition area, including Siemens Energy, BHP, Rio Tinto, Hitachi Energy, and Schneider Electric.
On November 7, nine CRRC subsidiaries signed 13 technology and equipment import agreements with partners from Germany, Sweden, Spain, Japan, and other countries, with total contract value reaching 1.236 billion RMB.
At the signing ceremony, Lin Cunzeng expressed gratitude for the strong support from CRRC’s partners and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding collaborations with both existing and new partners to drive green, low-carbon, and sustainable development.
Senior executives from CRRC’s headquarters and subsidiaries accompanied the delegation throughout the event.
