On November 8, coinciding with the 25th China Journalists’ Day, the 10th China Corporate New Media Conference was held in Beijing under the theme “New Quality Empowering New Communication”. The event focused on how corporate news and publicity can drive new productive forces and foster innovation in the communication sector.
Senior government officials, including Tan Zuojun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), and Niu Yibing, Deputy Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), attended the conference and delivered speeches. Sun Yongcai, Party Secretary and Chairman of CRRC Group, and Liang Baojun, Director, General Manager, and Deputy Party Secretary of China Telecom, were invited to deliver keynote speeches as representatives of central enterprises.
During the conference, the 2024 Outstanding Corporate New Media Cases were presented, a selection jointly curated by SASAC’s News Center and the China Public Relations Association. CRRC’s AI-Generated Content (AIGC) new media project, “Exploring China’s Revitalization Through a Century of Railways”, was recognized as one of the Top 10 Creative Excellence Cases.
In his keynote speech, Sun Yongcai highlighted the increasing public interest in high-speed rail travel, emphasizing the importance of protecting the image of high-speed rail as a product, CRRC’s reputation as a leading high-end equipment manufacturer, and China’s global brand identity. He outlined CRRC’s “Internal-External Balanced, Fully Integrated” corporate communication strategy, which leverages a collaborative approach to unify messaging across its subsidiaries while fostering partnerships with national and industry media. Through a multi-platform strategy, CRRC has established an innovative communication ecosystem that integrates various media formats and enhances industry-wide synergies.

The 10th China Corporate New Media Conference was held as a supporting event of the 7th China Enterprise Forum, bringing together representatives from central ministries and government agencies, media professionals, internet platform experts, corporate leaders, and academic scholars.
