On December 16, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China announced the 2024 Green Manufacturing List, with CRRC Qishuyan Institute being named a “Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise” at the national level.
The “Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise” designation is based on six key criteria: green supply chain management strategy, green supplier management, green production, green recycling, green information platform development, and green information disclosure. This recognition is awarded to leading companies with strong business capabilities, complete industry chains, and a solid foundation in green supply chain management. Its goal is to promote green industrial development and contribute to achieving the carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets within the industrial sector.
This honor recognizes CRRC Qishuyan Institute’s efforts in building a green supply chain system, managing green suppliers, developing smart logistics, and advancing the digital transformation of the supply chain.
Green development has always been a core principle at CRRC Qishuyan Institute. On February 18, 2023, CRRC Qishuyan Institute was awarded the title of National Green Factory. This recognition acknowledges the Institute’s initiatives in land efficiency, clean production, waste recycling, energy conservation, emission reduction, and carbon reduction, marking a new milestone in the Institute’s green transformation.
CRRC Qishuyan Institute has consistently aligned with national initiatives by actively promoting the development of green factories. It has been awarded multiple titles, including Changzhou Green Factory, Jiangsu Province Green Factory, CRRC Green Factory, and Jiangsu Province Leading Enterprise in Green Development. Through concrete actions, the Institute has been exploring a path of green, low-carbon development, while fulfilling its social responsibility as a central enterprise.
Additionally, on June 27 of this year, CRRC Qishuyan Institute’s Tiema Company was officially awarded the Zero Carbon Factory certification by the globally recognized China Quality Mark Certification Group (CQM). This milestone places Tiema among the distinguished zero-carbon factories and makes it the first such factory within the CRRC group.
Looking ahead, green competition will play a key role in market dynamics, with business development increasingly focusing on green and low-carbon sectors. CRRC Qishuyan Institute will continue to uphold the “dual carbon” strategy, contributing to the achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals with its expertise and efforts.
