To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to carry forward the Party’s fine traditions and working style, while further advancing the “CRRC Innovation · Women’s Empowerment Action,” and coinciding with the 70th anniversary of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles (CRCC Changchun) establishment, on July 1st, 14 female scientists from CRRC Changchun, affectionately known as “Changchun Moms,” visited Orphanage in Jilin Province. They brought “Summer Gift Packages” for the children of the “Changchun Class,” offering care and warmth while supporting their dreams and bright futures.
The “Changchun Moms” brought carefully selected sportswear sets and exquisite high-speed rail and subway models for the children. In return, the children presented their handmade paper-cutting works to the “Changchun Moms.” Lin Dongmei, Vice Chair of the Women’s Committee at CRRC Changchun, kindly inquired about the children’s studies and lives at school.
Kang Liqi, a senior expert at CRRC Changchun Engineering Technology Center and an innovation pacesetter, delivered a popular science lecture on the “Fuxing” high-speed train. Through Kang’s interactive presentation, the children had their first exposure to the “Fuxing” train, sparking an interest in Chinese manufacturing. The event concluded with the “Changchun Moms” inviting the children to visit the HSR manufacturing base to experience and ride the "Fuxing" train in person.
Since their first visit to Gulan School in Jilin Province on May 23, 2015, the “Changchun Moms” have made it a tradition to visit the “Changchun Class” every year, reflecting the company’s commitment to social responsibility. Over the past nine years, they’ve built a strong emotional connection with the children, fostering a bridge of love and hope between them.
