  Advancing ESG Integration in Supply Chain Management

  On October 20, the ESG China Innovation Annual Conference (Green Supply Chain Forum) was successfully held at Shougang Park in Beijing, co-hosted by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and CRRC Corporation Limited, with CRRC Asset Management Company Limited as the organizer. Under the theme “New Quality, Industry-Driven, Practicing Green Supply Chain Development,” the forum focused on enhancing ESG adoption in supply chains, driving innovation, and contributing to global sustainability goals.

  Strengthening ESG Governance and Industry Collaboration

  Bringing together over 90 representatives from regulatory bodies, businesses, and supply chain enterprises, the forum facilitated dialogue on ESG governance, compliance, and sustainable business practices.

  Xu Jinhua, Executive Vice President of the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, and Wang Feng, CRRC Vice President, emphasized the importance of collaborative ESG development in their opening remarks.

  Li Jianshuang, ESG Vice President of Bono Technology, provided an overview of domestic and international ESG policies, highlighting key regulatory trends.

  Jing Dan, Director of CRRC’s Industrial Chain Department, discussed how CRRC integrates ESG principles into its supply chain management.

  Teng Fei, Deputy Director (acting) of CRRC Asset Management’s Intangible Assets & ESG Management Department, outlined CRRC’s ESG framework and strategic planning for sustainable supply chains.

  He Huiya, Deputy General Manager of the Carbon Business Unit at CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive, shared insights into low-carbon procurement strategies and product carbon footprint assessments.

  Additionally, supplier representatives shared best practices in green factory development and responsible sourcing, reinforcing collaborative approaches to sustainability.

  Enhancing ESG Transparency and Implementation

  Participants engaged in thematic group discussions, exchanging ESG implementation insights and strategies. The event strengthened communication between CRRC and its suppliers, supporting greater transparency and alignment with international ESG expectations.

  The forum also contributed to CRRC Asset Management’s ESG evaluation and planning efforts, reinforcing its role in promoting responsible supply chain practices. Moving forward, CRRC Asset Management will further collaborate with CRRC’s Industrial Chain Department to build an integrated ESG ecosystem, ensuring sustainable and transparent supply chain development.
