On September 2, CRRC Yongji Electric launched the “She Power” Technology Innovation Competition, as part of the “CRRC Women’s Sci-Tech Innovation Action” plan. This initiative aims to inspire and empower female tech professionals, encouraging them to lead innovation and contribute to the nation’s scientific development.
Dai Bijun, Vice General Manager and Chief Engineer, opened the competition, highlighting the vital role of female talent in advancing technological innovation. She praised the achievements of female employees over the company’s 55 years, noting their courage, creativity, and leadership in overcoming challenges and driving breakthroughs.
The competition focused on two key areas: rail transportation and clean energy equipment, with a strong emphasis on R&D, design, and digitalization. After a month of selection, 15 teams reached the finals, presenting diverse technical solutions. The first prizes went to the projects “Fuxing 3000-horsepower Hybrid Dynamic Train Coupler Converter” and “High-Power Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hybrid Powertrain System.” Project leaders Chai Yuan and Li Shourong were named “Women in Sci-Tech Innovation Stars.”
This competition provided a platform for female tech professionals to showcase their talents and contributed to CRRC Yongji Electric’s ongoing technological advancements. It aims to continue empowering women in technology, fostering leadership in solving key technological challenges, and advancing the company’s independent innovation.
