  On August 31, the CR200J-D Fuxing bullet train set C776 departed from Chengdu West Station for Songpan Station, marking the debut of the CR200J-D model on the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway.

  Following the official opening of the Zhenjiang Pass to Huangsheng Pass section of the Sichuan-Qinghai Railway on August 30, the CR200J-D Fuxing train began operations. This railway is a key part of the Lanzhou-Xining to Chengdu corridor in China’s high-speed rail network, spanning 836 kilometers with a design speed of 200 km/h.

  The CR200J-D Fuxing “High Plateau Version” train, built by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and CRRC Puzhen, is specially designed for high-altitude, multi-tunnel, and steep-slope environments. It features nine carriages (1 powered, 8 trailers), a top speed of 160 km/h, and a capacity of 676 passengers. Enhancements for high-altitude operation include a pressure wave protection system and improved sealing, ensuring passenger comfort even in tunnels or when crossing altitude changes.

  The new service boosts travel to popular destinations like Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou and supports local tourism and economic growth. It also includes intelligent monitoring, a parking brake unit, and improved safety features for these challenging conditions.

  The CR200J-D Fuxing “High Plateau Version” train, with 9 carriages (1 powered, 8 trailers), has a top speed of 160 km/h and a capacity of 676 passengers. It features an integrated traction-trailer network for smart monitoring, enhanced safety systems for high-altitude and steep environments, and a pressure wave protection system to improve passenger comfort by regulating air pressure changes in tunnels.
