The Labour Union of CRRC DLD’s Machining Workshop has launched a themed series of activities titled "Empowering a New Chapter with Grace and Strength on Women's Day." In celebration of the 115th "March 8" International Women's Day, the The Labour Union of CRRC DLD’s Machining Workshop has meticulously planned the "Empowering a New Chapter with Grace and Strength on Women's Day" themed activities. By combining intangible cultural heritage (ICH) handicraft experiences with heartfelt blessings, the union has created a special event that integrates cultural significance with a festive atmosphere for female employees.
At the beginning of the event, female employees watched a documentary themed around "She Power," which showcased the inspiring stories of outstanding women from various industries. The scenes of scientific research breakthroughs and the inheritance of skills depicted in the video ignited the enthusiasm of the participants to make achievements in their own positions. A heritage craft master was invited to give a live lecture, systematically explaining the historical origins and cultural values of the ICH craft. Combined with the display of exquisite handicrafts, this allowed the female employees to immerse themselves in the charm of traditional craftsmanship. The workshop hall was transformed into a fragrant check-in spot, with an exquisite backdrop and custom hand-made bouquets that surprised and delighted the female employees. This thoughtful and practical gift conveyed the union's caring spirit as a "family member" to the employees.
Through the "Culture + Experience" model, the activities deeply integrated the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage with the care for female employees. The female employees expressed that they would transform the craftsmanship spirit cultivated during the handicraft-making process into work motivation. They pledged to carry forward the spirit of "self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance, and self-improvement," and to demonstrate their sense of responsibility and dedication in their positions, contributing to the company's high-quality development.
