Two EBB hybrid shunting locomotives developed for the Hungarian Railway Cargo Company (RCH) were delivered and put into operation in the depot of Székesfehérvár and Szolnok. This locomotive completed homologation and trial run.

In 2019, CRRC ZELC started to develop new locomotive for RCH to change the old diesel locomotive for lower costs and green operation, as well as service in catenary-free lines. CRRC ZELC made tailored solution for RCH’s needs. The new locomotive finished 40,000 km test run in Hungary and wins good reputation, thanks to easy operation and high safety.
