On the morning of June 20, 2024, a "Hunan-Guangdong-Africa" international train by land-sea transportation, loaded with ceramic products and other goods, departed from the Zhuzhou CRRC Logistics Co., Ltd. slowly, reached Nansha Port in Guangzhou of China and then went to Africa by sea. This is the 1,000th train operating since the launching of the project in 2021.
The "Hunan-Guangdong-Africa" international train by land-sea transportation have operated efficiently in the past three years, and the freight volume of them has increased rapidly. From September to December in 2021, only 10 trains were delivered. But, in 2022, 242 trains were shipped. In 2023, the quantity of delivered trains was nearly doubled, reaching 460 trains.In the first half of 2024, 288 trains were shipped and totally 500 trains are expected to be dispatched throughout the year.
