CKD6 and CKD7 diesel locomotives

CKD6 and CKD7 diesel locomotives are tailored for Myanmar State Railways, which share the similar configurations, with AC-DC as main transmission. Their auxiliary systems make use of DC motors, mechanical drive and belt drive. 3 two-axle bogies are designed for each locomotive. Low-position center pin is utilized for transmission of tractive and braking efforts. The car body is of inside corridor.
  CKD6 diesel locomotive is equipped with MTU12V396TC13 engine with the maximum service power of 880kW while the CKD7 diesel locomotive is equipped with MTU16V396 TC14 engine with the maximum service power of 1280kW.
